Pastor's Note

A word from Pastor, Donna J. Nilson

How are you Church

I hope you are having a wonderful spring. Some of you may have already experienced your spring break, while others might be currently enjoying their time off. Whether you're preparing for the upcoming spring season or currently on vacation, my prayer is that you conclude this spring season feeling spiritually replenished and rejuvenated by the blessings of the Lord.

Resting is needed to refill ourselves with the divine power of God in our lives so that there's something we can offer to people. Sometimes we don't have to go too far to be recharged by the Holy Spirit. A passion to please God. A passion to please God's creatures, and a passion for Christ is contagious.  Whatever happens, we know He has permitted it to take place to teach us and to perfect us for His service. He will enrich our circumstances, be they pleasant or disagreeable, by His presence with us.

Ask God to keep you from worrying about what others think, and to be content with whatever He sends your way. All the tomorrows for our lives have to pass Him before they get to us!

Philippians 4:11 "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."

Do you find yourself in need of the Lord? One thing I know about God is His faithfulness. Even if you don't currently see it, He will meet your needs in His perfect timing. It may seem simplistic, but it's undeniably true; take my word for it. Let us strive to cultivate contentment, just as Jesus did during His time on earth. He learned to be content because of the promises made by God the Father.

Today is your day in Christ Jesus!
